The Pimpernoot (Staphylea Pinnata) is a beautiful, graceful shrub that not only shines in the garden, but also offers a piece of unique nature. This medium-sized shrub, originating from Central and Southern Europe, is known for its decorative value and versatility.

Features:

• Flowering: In spring (May-June) the Pimpernoot blooms with fragrant, creamy white to light yellow flowers in elegant clusters. These flowers attract bees and butterflies, which makes this shrub ideal for a wildlife-friendly garden.

Plant information
This 1-year-old bare-root seedling is sold in winter dormancy without leaves. Bare-root plants are always sold without leaves because the bare roots would otherwise dry out. It is best to pot the plant directly in 70% quality potting soil and 30% perlite. Place the plant in a cool, light place (greenhouse or garage with window) and avoid frost below -5°C. It is best to keep the plant in a pot with good drainage for the first year. When the plant is large enough, it can be planted out.
