Plukkers.com finds your privacy very important. We will therefore process and use your data in a secure manner, entirely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. In this privacy statement we explain to you which data we collect from you and why we do this. You can also read in this statement what your rights are with regard to this processing. Article 1 Who are we?
Plukkers.com is a Private Limited Company, located at Wakkensteenweg 70, 8710 Wielsbeke Belgium. We are registered under number BE 0746.760.438. We are the controller of your personal data.
Article 2 What data do we use?
Here you can find an overview of the data we process from you, why we do this, what legal basis we have to process this data from you and how long we will store this data.
We process your name, any company name with associated Chamber of Commerce data, delivery address, invoice address, email and telephone number. We use this data to be able to send our product and to make you a satisfied customer during the term of our agreement. We store this data for up to 7 years after the end of our agreement.
For invoicing and financial administration, we process your name, any company name with associated Chamber of Commerce data and VAT number, invoice address, e-mail, bank details and outstanding balance. Without this data, we cannot process your payment. According to a legal obligation of the Tax Authorities, we must store this data for 7 years. After this period, we will delete or anonymize this data.
Should you unexpectedly have a complaint about our services, we will process your name, email and the content of and communication regarding this complaint in order to arrive at the best possible solution for you. We use this data for optimal execution of the agreement. We will add data regarding complaints to our CRM and delete them 7 years after handling.
We have a commercial interest in using some of your personal data for marketing purposes. We process your name and email for direct marketing. Optionally, you can also enter your telephone number. Klaviyo also keeps track of the location from which you subscribed and opened our mailings. We will delete this data as soon as you unsubscribe from our newsletter or indicate that you no longer wish to be contacted by us.
To enable and optimize this website, we use analytics and retargeting services. We have a commercial interest in using your surfing behavior and related data to analyze our service and improve it where necessary. You can read more about this in our cookie statement.
In order to enable the posting of reviews about our services, we process the content of your message with your name and/or company name if desired. We may post reviews about our services on our website and social media channels for commercial interest and will remove them when they are no longer representative of our business operations or when you request this.
When you want to contact us via the website, we ask for your name and email. By sending the contact form, this information becomes visible to us so that we can contact you. We delete the information from a sent contact form as soon as the contact question has been completed, unless an agreement arises from this.
Finally, for your personal account after an order in the webshop, we process a password. We store this password encrypted in combination with your e-mail address and/or user name. We do this to prevent security fraud. In addition, we process the data that you enter yourself in your account to make any subsequent orders easier. We store this data until you delete your account. You can do this at any time in your personal environment.
Article 3 How do we obtain this data?
We have obtained the above data from you as a customer, contact person or website visitor, because you have provided this data to us. In addition, we may have obtained your data when one of our products is sent to you as a gift.
We do our utmost to ensure that data about minors is only collected with parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data from a minor without that consent, please contact us.
Article 4 What rights do you have with regard to this data?
The General Data Protection Regulation has given you a number of rights with regard to the personal data that you allow us to process.
- Inspection - You can request us to inspect your data at any time.
- Modification - If you want to have your data modified, improved, supplemented, shielded or deleted based on inspection, you can submit a request to this effect. You can also modify some data yourself in your personal account.
- Objection - You can object to the processing of your data based on a balancing of interests.
- Data transfer - Should you wish to transfer your data to another provider, we will provide your data in a structured and commonly used format that can be opened by commonly used digital systems.
- Withdrawal - When we have processed data based on your explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent. This may have consequences for the services we can provide to you.
To exercise your rights, you can send a request, with a copy of your ID (with hidden BSN and passport photo), to info@plukkers.com . We will assess your request as soon as possible, but no later than within 30 calendar days. If we cannot comply with your request, we will let you know why we are rejecting your request.
Article 5 Who receives your data?
We will not provide your data to third parties, unless this is necessary for business operations or is required by law. Your data may be passed on to processors, parties involved in the execution of our agreement and external advisors for the execution of the agreement. We conclude processing agreements with these third parties to optimally protect your privacy. We will not sell your data to third parties.
When we process your data outside the European Economic Area, we will take appropriate security measures.
Article 6 Automated decision-making
We may use automated decision-making based on data, actions or omissions provided by you. As a result, it is possible that some of our services are no longer available to you. You may always let us know your position on an automated decision and have this decision reconsidered by a third party.
