Mulch material

Mulch is an easy way to cover the soil in your garden, and it has several advantages. It gives weeds less chance to grow and keeps the soil moist, which means you won’t have to use a watering can or sprinkler as often in the summer. Mulch comes in two forms: organic and non-organic. Organic mulch , such as miscanthus chips or leaves, has the added benefit of feeding the soil as it slowly decomposes. Keep in mind that you will need to replenish this layer regularly. Non-organic mulch, such as geotextile, lasts longer but does not provide nutrients for the soil.
