Mulberry ( Morus rotundiloba 'Mojo Berry') - 2 liter jar
The Mojo Berry is a dwarf mulberry that is very suitable for growing in pots to enjoy delicious mulberries all season long. This mulberry produces fruit on old and new wood, which means that fruit will develop all season long. This mulberry is somewhat sensitive to frost when it is in a pot, so put it in a sheltered spot in the winter.
- Planting: September to March (not in frost), after that time is also possible, but keep in mind that you will have to give extra water in warm weather because the roots are not yet properly established.
- Pruning : Mulberries do not need much pruning but they do tolerate pruning very well. Pruning can be done in June/July or in the autumn when the leaves have fallen from the tree.
- Open ground or pots: You can grow all soft fruit in pots, the bigger the pot the better they will do. They will always grow better and produce more fruit in the open ground.
