The Meyer lemon is a special citrus fruit that is a cross between a regular lemon and a mandarin. This gives it a softer, sweeter taste than the classic lemon. The thin, aromatic peel and juicy flesh make this lemon perfect for both sweet and savory dishes.
Light & location : this plant thrives best in a sunny, sheltered spot, such as a conservatory, greenhouse or sunny balcony. In winter it can overwinter indoors at a temperature above 2°C. Overwintering in a conservatory/greenhouse is also possible, but in case of frost it must be extra protected with fleece or heating.
Water & Care : Water regularly, but avoid allowing the roots to stand in wet soil. Use citrus food for healthy growth and fruit formation.
Fruits : The Meyer lemon tree produces fragrant flowers and deliciously scented, orange-yellow lemons with a unique, slightly sweet flavor.
