Erbsloh Solution sulfureuse P15 Potassium bisulfite 1 liter

Solution sulfureuse P15 is a SO2 solution that dissolves well in must and wine and is perfect to dose. KDS (potassium metabisulfite) in powder form is more difficult to dose and mix in must and . This means that you have to add KDS too often and too much, which also increases the pH of your wine and your must or wine is therefore even more vulnerable to oxidation.

Solution sulfureuse P15 contains 150 grams of SO2 per liter.

Dosage on must: 20 to 60 ml per 100 litres. This gives respectively 30 and 90 mg sulphite in your must or wine.

Dosage depends on:

• The quality of the fruit
• SO2 tolerance of your chosen yeast
• Desired molecular free sulfite

Used on both must (before fermentation) and wine (after fermentation). Sulfo Hubert 40 is often recommended on must as it does not contain potassium (pH increasing) and because Sulfo Hubert 40 also contains ammonium (nitrogen) which acts as yeast nutrient.
