Vallelado garlic (winter planting stock) is a beautiful hardneck variety from Spain, recognizable by its white skin with subtle pink hues. This garlic is known for its powerful, spicy flavor and firm cloves, making it a favorite in the kitchen. The cloves are easy to peel and ideal for both everyday dishes and culinary creations.

Hardneck garlic has fewer but larger cloves and a powerful, full flavor, is very resistant to cold winters, but has a slightly shorter shelf life.

• Planting period: in open ground, October – December
• Planting distance: 15 cm between plants, 25 cm between rows
• Planting depth: 5 to 10 cm deep (in loose soil, the garlic can be planted deeper)
• Harvest time: late June to mid-August
