Frigo strawberry plant 'Cadenza' - Packed per 10 pieces
Cadenza is a late, June-bearing variety that produces strawberries with good flavor and size. The fruits are quite firm and therefore have a good shelf life. The variety is not very susceptible to disease.
A June-bearing strawberry variety provides one large harvest per year. This type of strawberry plant produces a lot of fruit in a short time, which is ideal for fresh consumption, jam, or freezing. June-bearing varieties, like Cadenza, are often stronger and more productive than everbearing variants.
Frigo plants are bare-root plants that are kept in a cold store by the grower after cultivation. The roots of these strawberries are therefore exposed and contain no soil. The frigo strawberries are shipped in a bag so that the roots do not dry out and must therefore be planted or potted as soon as possible.
