Thornless dwarf blackberry bush 'Dima' - 3-liter pot

The Dima is a special blackberry bush, also known as 'Tiny Black'. This dwarf variety has a compact, semi-upright, and thornless growth habit with very short internodes, making it perfectly suited for container growing on a balcony or patio. The plant only grows to 50 cm in height and produces shiny, black blackberries with a sweet and tangy flavor, delicious eaten fresh or used in jams and desserts.

Key features:

• Harvest: July - August
• Flavor: sweet and tangy
• Fruit color: glossy black
• Thorns: no
• Location: sun to partial shade
• Height: approx. 50 cm
• Self-pollinating: yes
• Height at delivery: 30-40 cm (excluding pot)

Tips and care:

• Planting: plant the bushes from September to March. If planting later in the season, keep in mind that you will need to provide extra water during warm weather, as the roots have not yet established well.
• Pruning: in the autumn, prune away the branches that have borne fruit. The Dima produces fruit on two-year-old wood, so take care to preserve the young shoots.
• Support: thanks to the compact growth, almost no support is needed. Would you like to tie up the branches anyway? Use bamboo canes or a small trellis in the pot.
• Open ground or pots: you can grow all small fruit in pots. The larger the pot, the better they will perform. They will always grow better and produce more fruit in open ground.

TIP: The Dima is ideal for those who want to enjoy their own blackberries on a balcony or patio: compact, thornless, and easy to pick—even for children!
