'Ruby' is a cherry plum with large to very large red fruit and red flesh. The tree grows columnar and therefore remains relatively narrow. This variety is self-pollinating and is known for its high to very high yield. The fruits are suitable for eating fresh or processing and ripen in late July to early August.
