Features:
- Flowering: The Pawpaw flowers in spring (April-May) with striking, bell-shaped flowers in deep purple-red tones. These flowers attract pollinating insects and form the basis for the fruits.

To optimize fruit production, it is useful to plant two or more trees for cross-pollination.

Plant information
This 1-year-old bare-root seedling is sold in winter dormancy without leaves. Bare-root plants are always sold without leaves because the bare roots would otherwise dry out. It is best to pot the plant directly in 70% quality potting soil and 30% perlite . Place the plant in a cool, light place (greenhouse or garage with window) and avoid frost below -5°C. It is best to keep the plant in a pot with good drainage for the first year. When the plant is large enough, it can be planted out. Protect the plant from severe frost for the first few years by wrapping it in fleece or other protection. Once the plant is large enough, it is completely frost-resistant.
For optimal pollination we recommend planting at least 2 trees.
