The cabbage fly lays its eggs at the base of the cabbage plant, after which the larvae attack the root system. This weakens the plant, causing it to fall over and die. The cabbage collars prevent the cabbage fly from laying its eggs at the base of the plant, thus preventing damage. This ecologically responsible solution helps you to garden without cabbage fly problems. The cabbage collars are made of impregnated cardboard.
