These Japanese pruning shears are made of the best IZUMO YASUGI steel, resulting in blades with a high hardness of 60–61 Rockwell. Thanks to the combination of hardness and flexibility, the blade always fits well on the counterblade, even with intensive use.

The blade is ground in two angles for a smooth cut with minimal damage to the plant. The V-shaped spring distributes the load evenly, so that the shears always close smoothly.
