The Fig 'Panachée', also known as Tiger Fig, is a special fig tree with striking green-yellow striped fruits and deliciously sweet flesh. This unique variety combines a surprising appearance with a refined taste and is a real eye-catcher in the garden or on the terrace.
- Growth Vigor : Vigorous, medium-sized tree or shrub with a broad, open crown.
- Leaves : large, deeply cut and dark green, typical of fig trees.
- Winter hardiness : moderately hardy, tolerates temperatures down to -12°C. In colder areas protection is advisable.
- Taste : Sweet and honeyed with a rich, complex flavour. The flesh is deep red and juicy.
- Skin : green with striking yellow stripes, making it one of the most beautiful fig varieties.
- Harvest time : ripens from August to October, depending on the climate.
