The Rubus Idaeus 'Twotimer Sugana Red ®' is a unique raspberry that bears fruit twice a year, a real asset to your garden! The bright red raspberries are deliciously sweet, and the plant is easy to care for.

The shrub grows upright and reaches a height of about 180 cm, making it suitable for smaller gardens and even balconies. You can expect the first harvest on the old branches in June, while the new branches will produce fruit again in the autumn.

Tips and care:

• Planting: Plant the shrubs from September to March. If you plant later in the season, keep in mind that you'll need to provide extra water in warm weather, as the roots aren't yet well established.
• Pruning: In the fall, prune all two-year-old stems back completely to the ground. Leave the one-year-old stems. The first fruits will appear on these the following year.
• Open ground or pots: You can grow all soft fruit in pots; the larger the pot, the better they will do. They will always grow better and produce more fruit in the open ground. In the open ground, this variety does require support in the form of a trellis, fence, or wire tied to poles.
