Runner bean 'Davis' produces fine, soft and tasty 14-16 cm long beans with a diameter of 7-9 mm. The pods have a beautiful, healthy dark green colour and are not only very tasty but also a feast for the eyes. 'Davis' is a typical hand-picking variety. The slender beans hang nicely sheltered from wind, rain and sun and are very easy to harvest. Thanks to its natural resistance, it also has a very good shelf life and is therefore extremely suitable for the fresh market. This bean is particularly robust, even under unfavourable growing conditions. Due to its excellent resistance to numerous diseases, including rust, both the plant and the beans retain a beautiful colour until the end of the cultivation and the variety produces a high yield.
