Brocoli 'Bobby' BIO
The broccoli 'Bobby' is a broccoli variety that can be harvested quickly. Due to its fast growth, this variety is less susceptible to caterpillars and aphids. This broccoli has a long stem, which makes harvesting easier. One bag is suitable for approximately 12m2.
'Bobby' is a very beautiful broccoli that develops beautiful green umbels early (60-70 days). The variety has little trouble with second growth and hollow stems, and harvesting is easy thanks to the long stem. This broccoli is especially suitable for late summer and autumn cultivation thanks to the short growing time. For a fixed-pollinate variety, 'Bobby' is nicely uniform, with a high percentage of usable umbels that are nicely shaped, average in size and good in weight. Like all cabbage crops, 'Bobby' needs average to a lot of fertilization. Due to the earliness of this variety, it can be harvested sooner, so there is less chance of problems with aphids and caterpillars.

                  Saving seeds
Store seeds in a cool, dry and dark place, such as a sealed box in a cupboard. Pay attention to the expiration date on the packaging and use them before that time. If the packaging has been opened, make sure it is sealed properly and check the germination capacity before use.
You can easily test the germination capacity of seeds with a germination test :
- Place a few seeds (for example 10) on a damp piece of kitchen paper.
 - Fold the paper towel closed and place it in a plastic bag or place it in a sealed container.
 - Place it in a warm place, such as on the windowsill.
 - After a few days, check to see if the seeds have started to germinate.
