Potting soil for press pots 30 liters BIO
Potting soil for making press pots BIO
Ideal for making press pots or blocks. This potting soil offers the perfect ratio of peat and sand for a compact, supple nutrient medium, with excellent drainage and distribution for rapid rooting and optimum growth. Enriched with trace elements for strong and healthy plants. Suitable for use in organic gardens.
With 30 liters of press pot mix you can use the press for 5 pressing blocks (38mm) +- 300 pressing blocks.
Usage
- Moistening: Put the potting soil in a container and moisten it sufficiently by adding water. To check whether the potting soil is sufficiently moist, take a handful of wet potting soil. If no water runs out when you squeeze it, it is good.
- Filling the Potting Press: Take the potting press and press it vertically into the moist mixture several times until the press is full. Level the bottom of the press by scraping over the edge of the container to remove excess potting soil.
- Pressing out the potting press: Place the potting press in the growing tray. Press the handles and carefully pull the potting press upwards to release the potting press.
- Sowing: Place the desired seed in the hollow of the press pot. Press lightly to obtain good contact with the potting soil and cover with a thin layer of potting soil.
- Aftercare: Place the cultivation trays with press pots in a warm and light space. Keep the potting soil sufficiently moist. Water the press pots with a mist sprayer or fine watering shower, or pour water into the bottom of the cultivation tray.
