Growing cap or lid for trays made of soft plastic

With these growing caps you create an optimal environment for growing your plants in trays. If you use your trays for cuttings, these caps are almost indispensable. They provide a stable growing space by reducing evaporation, warming the soil faster and significantly increasing germination and cutting percentages. In addition, they protect your seeds from mice in early spring.

Available in 2 heights:

• 5 cm : Suitable for crops such as lettuce, cabbage and other leafy vegetables.
• 10 cm : Ideal for leaf, legume and fruit crops such as pepper, paprika, tomato and pumpkin.

The growth hoods are specially designed for our hard trays, but also fit on the deep root trays and soft trays. For soft trays, a base is recommended, so that the hood is nice and flat. Without a base, the hood can be a bit crooked, but that is not a problem. A base is not necessary for hard and deep root trays.
