Lily 'Forever Susan' (Lilium 'Forever Susan') - 5 pieces

The 'Forever Susan' Lily is a striking Asiatic lily with a distinct and warm color palette. This expressive lily plant immediately draws attention with its unique two-tone petals: a deep, purple-brown base with eye-catching, bright orange tips. Each lily flower stands proudly upright on a sturdy stem and creates a true spectacle in the summer garden. Because these Asiatic lily flowers are virtually pollen-free and odorless, they are not only an eye-catcher in the border, but also incredibly practical and long-lasting as cut flowers in a vase.

Tips and care

• Planting: choose a sunny to lightly shaded spot in the garden with well-draining, nutrient-rich soil. Plant the bulbs in spring (March to May) or autumn at a depth of about 10 to 15 cm.

• Maintenance: keep the soil moderately moist, especially during the active growth and flowering period. Cut off faded flowers to prevent the plant from putting energy into seed formation.

• Overwintering: very hardy. Allow the stems and foliage to die back completely and turn yellow after flowering before cutting them back close to the ground.

• Garden beds or pots: beautiful in combination with other warm summer shades in the border, but also very suitable for spacious patio pots.
