Plant onion 'Shakespeare' (choose weight)
A British bred variety for autumn planting which gives high yields of good sized brown bulbs with excellent skin quality and storage properties. Good resistance to bolting. A 250 gram bag contains 60-65 onions with a size of 14-21 mm.

Planting period : From September to October
- Planting distance : : Plant them in rows 30 cm apart and 10 cm between the plants.
- Planting depth : Plant the onion so that the top is just above in sandy soil and plant them slightly higher in clay soil (with the top and 0.5 cm of the onion above). Plant them in the current year's potato bed in loose, well-drained soil. Tarred compost is fine, avoid fresh manure.
- Harvest : August
