The Satsuma mandarin (Citrus Unshiu) is one of the most popular mandarin varieties due to its sweet taste, juicy flesh and easy peeling. This Japanese citrus variety is known for its cold resistance, making it ideal for cultivation in temperate climates. The plant can withstand temperatures down to -10ºC. Protect in case of severe and persistent frost.
Taste : Deliciously sweet with a light freshness, almost seedless and extremely juicy. Thin and easy to peel by hand, ideal for quick consumption. Deep orange when fully ripe.
