Red Baron is an attractive plant onion variety known for its deep red skin and firm, round onions. These medium-sized onions have a mild, slightly sweet flavor, making them perfect for use in salads, stir-fries, and other culinary creations where color and flavor are important.

Red Baron is easy to grow and produces a high yield. The onions have good storage properties, so they remain fresh for months after harvest. An ideal choice for gardeners and growers looking for tasty and colorful onions of top quality.

  •  Planting period : From March to April
  •  Planting distance : Plant them in rows 30 cm apart and 10 cm between the plants.
  •  Planting depth : Plant the onion so that the top is just above in sandy soil and plant them slightly higher in clay soil (with the top and 0.5 cm of the onion above). Plant them in the current year's potato bed in loose, well-drained soil. Tarred compost is fine, avoid fresh manure.
  •  Harvest : July to August
