Seed package 'Bees and butterflies' BIO

Are you looking for a variety of butterfly and bee plants? Then choose this package with flowers that are full of pollen. The best months to sow this package are April and May.

In this seed package you will find the favorite flowers for both bees and butterflies. These flowers are full of pollen, which bees and butterflies need to flourish. Bees and butterflies are very important for our food supply: a large part of food production, including seed cultivation, depends on pollination by bees and butterflies, among others. Our seeds are guaranteed free of poison, and poison is one of the causes of the decline in the bee and butterfly population. So always choose organic seeds, then you are really doing well and you make bees, butterflies and many other insects happy! With this package you create beautiful flowers for your garden, and you give bees and butterflies a better chance of survival.

The best time to sow for most varieties in this package is in April and May. Sow in rows of 25 cm, this makes it easier to control weeds. Press the seeds well after sowing. Keep the soil moist for the first few days after sowing, if necessary. You can of course also sow the flowers (indoors) and plant them after 2 to 3 weeks.

Saving seeds

Store seeds in a cool, dry and dark place, such as a sealed box in a cupboard. Pay attention to the expiration date on the packaging and use them before that time. If the packaging has been opened, make sure it is sealed properly and check the germination capacity before use.

You can easily test the germination capacity of seeds with a germination test :

  1. Place a few seeds (for example 10) on a damp piece of kitchen paper.
  2. Fold the paper towel closed and place it in a plastic bag or place it in a sealed container.
  3. Place it in a warm place, such as on the windowsill.
  4. After a few days, check to see if the seeds have started to germinate.
