Instructions for use

Sprinkle the seeds of a sprout vegetable in a thin layer on the grid. Fill the dish up to the grid with water. Then put the sprout dish away in the right place, follow the cultivation instructions on the packaging or in the webshop (www.bolster.nl). Avoid full sun and fill the water level every day, up to the roots.

Clean the germination tray thoroughly after harvest with dishwashing liquid or in the dishwasher. Make sure the tray is completely clean at the beginning of each new crop.

Saving seeds

Store seeds in a cool, dry and dark place, such as a sealed box in a cupboard. Pay attention to the expiration date on the packaging and use them before that time. If the packaging has been opened, make sure it is sealed properly and check the germination capacity before use.

You can easily test the germination capacity of seeds with a germination test :

  1. Place a few seeds (for example 10) on a damp piece of kitchen paper.
  2. Fold the paper towel closed and place it in a plastic bag or place it in a sealed container.
  3. Place it in a warm place, such as on the windowsill.
  4. After a few days, check to see if the seeds have started to germinate.
