Sweat hose 16 mm

This 16 mm soaker hose ensures even and efficient watering of your garden. Water slowly seeps through the porous material along the entire length, keeping the soil evenly moist everywhere. Our soaker hose has a flow rate of 2 liters/hour per running meter of hose.

You connect the soaker hose to the 16 mm main hose using a 16 mm valve. This allows you to shut off the entire circuit if desired. It is not strictly necessary to start with a valve, but we highly recommend it. You can also connect the soaker hose directly to all our other 16 mm connectors, such as the 16 mm elbow, T-piece, and straight connector.

Place it in the desired location and secure it with ground stakes. You can easily cut it to size with our handy cutter tool. Seal the end of the soaker hose with the 16 mm end cap.

The sturdy, UV-resistant hose is weather-resistant and will last for years. You can lay it on top of the ground or hide it neatly under a layer of mulch. Ideal for longer rows of plants and areas where constant, even moisture is important.

The main difference from a drip hose is that water "sweats" along the entire length, so not at fixed points, but everywhere. This makes it suitable for wider surfaces or areas where you want to distribute moisture very evenly. If you want to water specifically at the roots, it is better to choose a drip hose.

Do you want to connect this soaker hose directly to your garden hose? You can! Use the 'garden hose to 16 mm hose connector' for this.
