How fermentation mode/rising mode works:
The appliance offers a constant, low temperature that is essential for various cooking processes. The proofer creates the ideal heat for rising dough, making yoghurt, preparing superfoods, and can also be used to temper chocolate. The thermostat regulates the temperature, while the radiant heat from the base ensures that the ingredients remain stable within a few degrees.
In fermentation mode, humidity can be increased via the water reservoir, ideal for rising bread dough. For tempering chocolate and preparing yogurt, butter, tempeh, kefir, kombucha, sour cream, crème fraîche, cheese and natto, it is not necessary to increase humidity.
How slow-cook mode works:
In this mode, a pan can be placed on the hob and the desired temperature can be set. This allows a dish to be cooked slowly and evenly for optimum flavour.
