Cosmos bipinnatus (cosmea) – 'Fizzy White'
The Fizzy White is an elegant Cosmea variety with beautiful, filled flowers in bright white. The petals are slightly wavy, which gives this flower a unique and refined look. This Cosmea, with a height of approximately 100-120 cm, looks beautiful in borders or cutting gardens and is also perfect for use in bouquets because of the long, sturdy stems. The flowering from July to October provides a long-lasting and radiant white accent in your garden. In addition, the Fizzy White attracts bees and butterflies, which brings extra life to your garden.
Sowing instructions:
Cosmos is a light germinator, which means that the seeds only need to be lightly covered with soil. If you are pre-sowing, you can place the elongated seeds vertically in the soil, leaving part of the seed visible. This often works well for even germination. If you are sowing in the open ground, you can simply spread the seeds, press them lightly and keep the soil moist, but not too wet. Within 5 to 7 days, the first seeds will start to germinate.
