How to use:
After washing, dry the barrel well and make sure that no residual moisture remains. Now sulphur with 5/10 g/hl. If the barrel is not used immediately, or for weeks or months, you should wrap it in plastic and put it in a room with: good humidity (75% - 80%), no air currents, little light, cover with a cloth and avoid UV rays.
PRODUCT SUITABLE FOR WINE AND SPIRITS
The oak barrels are made from used oak barrels that were used in France for red wine. These are completely dismantled, cleaned, disinfected, re-enriched with natural tannin (from grapes) and medium toasted.
The contact surface with wood is much larger compared to larger oak barrels. The contact time of your wine in the barrel is therefore better kept somewhat shorter in the first years. Regular tasting is therefore the message. You can also assemble the wood-aged wine with non-wood-aged wine until a good balance is present.
