The Suzuki fruit fly has been on the rise in recent years. This is bad news for fruit growers, who are facing serious damage to their crops. Fruit types such as grapes, strawberries, currants, blackberries, cherries and plums are all at risk with this fruit fly in the vicinity. Even fruit that is apparently undamaged can be persistently affected. The female Suzuki fruit fly uses ripening fruit as a nursery for their eggs. As a result, the fruit begins to rot over time.

Special size and finish for grape cultivation

The Drosophila suzukii grape netting Ornata Air Plus 88102 has a small mesh size that this fruit fly cannot get through. The special thin wire and the elongated meshes ensure extra light and air passage. For grape cultivation we have developed a special size, namely the 1×100 m with or without Velcro. Because the top and bottom edges are finished with Velcro, it is very easy to attach. You can choose between a mesh with selvedge or a mesh finished with stitched Velcro.
