Miscanthus, also known as elephant grass, is a sustainable mulch material. It is produced from the stems of this fast-growing plant and offers excellent benefits for gardens and landscapes. Miscanthus mulch suppresses weed growth, retains moisture in the soil and improves soil structure after decomposition. It is a natural alternative to bark and other mulches and is suitable for both ornamental and vegetable gardens.
